Higher Wire is proud to carry the ReCharge Energy drop-in lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) 48v golf cart battery! This is 30 amp-hours (1.5kWh), and we recommend at least two for a stock two-seat golf cart.

 

These also work in deep cycle applications such as solar or emergency backup!

 

These are equivalent to Group GC2 and GC8 batteries, and measure 10.25x7.125x9.625 inch (260x181x245 mm).

ReCharge Energy deep cycle lithium batteries are the perfect drop-in replacements for Group GC2 and GC8 lead acid 6V and 8V batteries. They are the perfect combination of size and capacity to fit many applications including, golf carts, marine, backup power systems, solar systems and more. ReCharge lithium batteries provide more energy for high consumption than traditional lead-acid batteries. They also offer ultra-fast charging, high efficiency, and longer cycle life – plus no maintenance!

 

While we recommend 2 or more Recharge 48V/30Ah batteries for average users to replace their lead acid batteries, it is possible to use a single 48V/30Ah battery for a standard golf cart with light load condition due to the higher peak current capability of Recharge 48V battery and its integrated BMS board.  For carts with a regenerative braking feature such as the EZGO TXT, RXV, etc., the single battery option will require the regenerative brake to be disabled.

We ship the majority of our orders by the next business day. Lithium batteries may take up to two business days to process to accommodate inspection and logging into our system.

Our shipping rates are based on the weight of all ordered products plus estimated weight of packaging. We make every effort to forecast an accurate shipping cost, but cannot be 100% certain in all cases. Please contact us at sales@higherwireenergy.com with any questions prior to purchase.

We pack and label all lithium battery shipments in accordance with Federal Regulation 49CFR173.185, as well as USPS Publication 52 Hazard Class 9 or UPS/Fedex guidelines. Unless otherwise stated, lithium batteries are not eligible for free shipping.

We try to pack all items in an order in a single box, however we may on occasion need to ship items separately. Special shipping does not apply to lithium ion batteries, and orders that include batteries may not qualify for free or expedited shipping.
